The Merchant's House Hotel is steeped in local history as the properties date back to the 14th Century. This charming boutique hotel has retained much of the character from its illustrious past which includes a number of unique features ranging from the intriguing array of passageways, balconies and hidden staircases to the many architectural details of the elaborate medieval façade, lead stained glass windows, wooden beamed ceilings with hand-painted fresco moulds and restored open fireplaces.

The Merchant House comprises 37 rooms, including 5 suites, facing either into the ancient cobbled streets of Tallinn or the hotels tranquil courtyard that provides an oasis in the heart of the city.

Each room in the property offers guests an exciting combination of medieval architecture and state-of-the art fixtures and fittings, which have been carefully selected from an eclectic range of designs and cultures, to provide a harmonious balance between the old and the new.
