Location - about 1 mile from downtown so need a car or brave the local taxis if you want to go out at night.

We were looking for a hotel that was close to downtown so we won't have to spend much of our time in cabs.

The hotel was a five minute ride to Cairo downtown, and it was a central location to most attractions we wanted to see: The Cairo Museum, the Citadel, Al-Husein, the Nile boats, a bit of drive from the pyramids, though..
