The staff were unhelpful in this regards but as far as location and comfort were concerned, the hotel offered excellent value for money.

We arrived very early and could check in almost right away - very good We had a nice 2 room apartment, good if you are travelling with chldren Avoid the breakfast though - not value for money, at least not if you like continental/english, maybe the chinese one was OK,can't comment on that one.

For shanghai, this hotel offered rates during my stay which I consider to be quite a great value stay compared to other hotels which I have stayed at which were much smaller in terms of room size and with rates at least a few times more expensive.
