Guest Reviews of The Peninsula Hotel Beijing Based on a 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent) rating system

What people say about: Luxurious (show overall reviews)
  1.
All nice and fancy but it lacked something

    TripAdvisor, 16 Jun 2009

  2.
Luxurious comfort in a good location: I stayed at the Peninsula for three nights at the end of a month-long trip in China, during which I slept everywhere from night trains and hostels, through typical 3-star Chinese hotels where no one speaks a word of English, and even a tent in the desert, so this was definitely the most comfortable place, though maybe not the most interesting one...

  4.
Prestigious and centrally located within walking distance of the Forbidden City, this landmark property features spacious rooms with dark wood and neutral tones, chic restaurants and exemplary service.

  5.
Not quite as luxurious as the Beverly Hills location or Hong Kong location, but for Beijing, it's at the higher end.
