    The Fairmont is beautiful and if you get a quiet room you will enjoy your stay, but alot of the staff we experienced were very unprofessional for that class of a hotel.

    The rest of the hotel is still very impressive and equally friendly, but if you don't want the hustle and bustle you can sit quietly away from it all.

    Our room was lovely, a huge very comfy bed, robes and slippers and just generally luxurious - a perfect end to a perfect honeymoon really.

    The main bar area in the hotel was very nice and the perfect place to sit and relax after a days sightseeing, and it was nice to listen to the musicians as well.

    We chose the Fairmont Vancouver because we like the location and had been to the hotel before - plus the rate was fantastic (* a night quoted * for two nights with tax - US funds - plus another 30 for parking and 12 for Internet - Canadian - at about .78

    The pre cruise stay was excellent, the room being bright and spacious and on a location looking down Georgia and Burrard.
