There's a day spa,giant pool,victorian restaurant,turn of the century architecture,fancy room service,chefs,butlers,basketball court,and tennis court ,of course you will have to pay for for some of these but im sure its worth it!

I agree it is quite expensive especially the bar and food prices, but it was worth every penny,plus we're a little older and like the convenience of staying downtown in the heart of the city.

I had booked via Fairmont's Great Rates-Great Dates programme giving me the best value hotel room in the world, one of the benefits of joining the Fairmont President's Club (a must if you intend to stay at any Fairmont hotels).

I tried the breakfast buffet (it seemed good value compared to ordering food, coffee and orange juice separately), but my initial trip up yielded crunchy pancakes, soggy waffles, limp hashbrowns, and dried up cheese.
