We were within walking distance of wonderful shopping and we walked to the aquarium and Stanley Park from the hotel.

It was nice to have an empty fridge to use (and there's a good grocery shop just two blocks away).

A few blocks south of the hotel you can board the tiny False Creek Ferry to Granville Island which has wonderful shops and restaurants.

There is even a great little food store down the street with fresh produce and a great bakery.

The location is ideal for all the main shops and restaurants; the people are very friendly, I liked the way that pedestrians have the right of way at crossings, traffic is so curtias in the City.

It was our first visit to Vancouver, overall we fell in love with the city, friendly people great shops and we used the Sea bus ,sky train and Taxis to get around and found them all reasonable, as two woman travelling on our own around Vancouver we felt very safe, even on the evenings, no need to take fancy clothes they all seem to prefer casual dress.

I think the location is pretty good, in the heart of Downtown, with a short walk to all the shops and the wonderful public market at Granvilles Island.
