There is nothing wrong at all with this hotel, just that the website makes it sound like a 5 star hotel at 3 star prices, with everything in one huge modern funky building, with patio area nd galss covered area etc.

Final thoughts - they allow pets, and have funky touches here and there, the parking is expensive at $25/night, there is a 24 yoga channel and you can borrow yoga mats from the hotel for your stay which was a nice perk, I like that KImpton tries to respect the environment and supports causes like aids, parks etc...

Funky family and pet friendly, great access to all that downtown Vancouver has to offer walking distance to many restaurants shopping galleries and museums.
