    the rooms are very clean and nicely decorated, we had a room on the top floor which was great because we didn't hear any noise.

    I was expecting some offer compensation for the malfunction, especially because we upgraded to that room (a $20 per night price difference on a room that was already at the limits of our modest budget) specifically for the whirlpool, but none was forthcoming.
