    On the other hand, I had a horrible massage and a tough time communicating with another woman who understood little English and was not giving me the treatment I ordered and didn't understand my request to change it.

    The Spa is fantastic and whilst not the cheapest in Asia, it is still affordable as cheaper than UK prices

    The hotel amenities included a very nice and affordable spa (although not as nice as Raffles the Plaza in Singapore), basic gym, excellent breakfast with lots of variety and made-to-order eggs, superb quality room service, spot-on poolside service and fantastic well-priced (by US standards) cocktails in the Elephant Bar, which is definitely worth a visit.
