We were shown to our room, but needed to change rooms, as friend was a light smoker, advised hotel of this fact when Booked and paid for a luxurious smoking room, with top notch facilities as advertised on net, but received average 3.5

It is a quaint hotel in that the hotel is built above Myer shopping emporium and to check in means taking dropping suitcases with a porter at the small off-street entry and taking a lift to the 8th floor which opens out onto an elegant lobby and reception.

This hotel definately doesn't have the stuffy atmosphere found at many of the other local 5 star hotels and although it isn't super luxurious, it is great value for money.
