The problems started with check-in - the receptionist didn't understand that "Advance Purchase" meant "purchased in advance" - basic English, I would have thought.

Surly receptionist who continued a phone conversation as we arrived then said we would have to wait for a table (for 5) though the place was more than half empty at around 8:30pm.
