The Rocks is the main tourist areas, with many shops, restaurants, and of course the Opera House.

Outstanding location, right down the street from everything you want to do in Sydney, easy access to the ferries, and lots of shops and restaurants to choose from.

The Shangri-La is perfectly situated in the area around The Rocks and Circular Quay, and is within easy walking distance to the CBD and the fantastic shopping that Sydney has to offer.

Would recommend you go to the rock's which is alot like the lanes in brighton some lovely restaurant's and the farmers market was amazing lovely stuff there.

To top it all I had a huge favour to ask recently - I'd purchased a large painting from a nearby shop as a present for my wife but as I was in Melbourne I had no means of getting it to a friend who was driving from Sydney to Melbourne that night !

We particularly enjoyed taking a ferry over to Manly, where they have beautiful beaches and a lovely shopping area.

The hotel is in a great location for walking to Circular Quay, Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Botanic Gardens and the main shopping area as well as the Rocks itself which has some nice shops and cafes.

Breakfast in one of the lovely coffee shops in the lanes around the hotel is a must and much cheaper than the hotel.
