Stunning interior design, high ceilings, friendly staff, an excellent place to stay if you're looking for a stylish, relaxed accommodation, as opposed to the glitz and glamour of a 5 star giant hotel.

A wonderful hotel that felt very comfortable - chic without trying to hard, contemporary - without being likely to date in a hurry - a boutique hotel packed full of charm and personality.

PROS - free DVD Library - stylish and modern - Natio bathroom products CONS - Stairs at the entrance and no-one to help you carry bags or open the door - Stairs INSIDE the Deluxe room - Reception not very welcoming, I had to ask if I could check-in (also doubles as a Bar) as I thought there may be check-in further in, before I realised how tiny the hotel is - Reception gave us the wrong instructions on catching a tram to Fitzroy, could have walked 1 block to Collins and caught the 112 straight to Brunswick instead was told to walk 3 blocks to Bourke and catch the 86?

Breakfast in the chic Felt dining room was delicious - a combination of a la carte and buffet, which leaves those stodgy, overheated hotel buffets in its wake.
