We ate at all three of the hotel outlets - The Fireplace food is fantastic, pool bar was fine - the Cove Cafe food was fine but the service was rather lacking (lunch).

We decided to go somehwere really nice on X-mas day and get away from it all and relax - someplace where we could watch the kids swim in a pool and drink nice drinks with umbrellas in them - so we headed for the alledgedly 5 star resort at Sanctuary cove.

The package included continental breakfast in the Regency Lounge which was adequate but not particularly memorable.

The meals were good, with the only duds being the italian restaurant in the village (bad from start to end) and oddly enough the hotel's Fireplace restaurant (good service, good room, nice menu, but the food was really bland for the prices- the best meal was the panfried fish and chips that they did especially for my son).
